HDTV as Computer Monitor Problem?

I have the Vizio RAZOR LED LCD HDTV (Model: VM230XVT). And my problem is I have my temp. computer (Toshiba Satellite L305) with all my movies on it hooked up to my Vizio via VGA, but on the right side it’s been chopped off about an inch and placed on the left side. It’s only like this on VGA and HDMI when it’s my computer (Xbox and TV no problem). ANY HELP?
